  1. Thanks for this. The manual leaves out that critical bit of needing to shift the assembly to the left to get the grille to come off. (If you have the model with the flap over the grille that tilts open when the vent fan is on, it's useful to pull it open when reinstalling the grille assembly; otherwise it's nearly impossible to line up the tabs that need to go into the slots on the front of the main unit.)

  2. What a bad design! Just bought a new samsung microwave, installed it and now have to uninstall access the screws. Now you are expecting me to uninstall it every 6mo to change the filter!! I wish I knew this before buying it!! 😡

  3. Thanks for this post! I was at the point of looking at how to remove the door to get at the filter compartment. I would have never guessed sliding it left after taking the screw's out.
